Become the change......

Tonight I was listening in to a webinar by a dear friend of mine Steve Linder and he remininded me of something so EMPOWERING and yet so FUNDAMENTAL!

Having spent the day in a business where the employees were....let's say...a little disgruntled...no.....demoralised....no....disheartened...yes....that's the word I was looking for...disheartened and asked each of them what did they love about the job...and....what were the top 3 most challenging things?

The answers were not surprisingly standard for a disheartened work force!

What do they love?

a. Home time

b. Pay day

c. Holidays!

What are the challenges?

a. Being asked to do too much in too little time

b. Not enough staff training

c. working for a boss who doesn't support them

Interesting..cos when you ask the boss the same questions.......well you get similar answers except for c. on th challenges where he or she will tell you they havee staff who don't support them.

So....what's the truth that I was reminded of???

Simple - the way to effect the changes you want to see.......

LIVE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN OTHERS!
