Change the Focus

Some days it's so easy when things start to spiral down to get caught
up in that energy, pressure, gossip, moaning.....you know what I mean
don't you!?! Before you know it it's going from bad to worse and you're
feeling bad because now you're only focussing on all the bad things!
A simpe trick to catch this before it runs away with you is to stop and ask a simple Question...
What 5 things am I grateful for Right NOW? or...What 5 things could I be grateful for right now if I chose to be?
And rattle them off....count them on your fingers....
I'm grateful that I have a job right now cos so many don't
I'm grateful that I have the ability to make a dfifference to people's health
I'm gratefiul that I can hear all of the things going on around me
I'm grateful that I have the company of others around me to support me
I'm grateful for that cup of tea that I AM going to stop and have RIGHT NOW! :-)
Make yourself smile a little...it'll release some endorphins that will
make you feel better. If you have people around you that you can share
this little game with - let them in on it - catch eachother and when
you see someone start to crash - Catch them quickly by asking - "Quick
- name 5 things you're grateful for right now...OR 5 things you Love to
do... or 5 things you're Amazing at!
See how it changes their state ass well as your own.
Make it a habit and FEEL the difference it makes to your day
