Eight back-to-back exams with only one day apart, six done and two to go. Can’t wait till the summer; summer placement and nothing else, just chilling whoop whoop!
Thousands of pharmacy students like me have made the university library our temporary home (I do live in a house); trying to cram countless lecture material into our tiny heads (big brains) before an exam starts. But for a small minority of people who opt for the ‘subtle art of question spotting’, have they perfected the lazy man’s way and got it spot on?
Looking through the exam paper I took yesterday (Friday afternoon) and comparing to previous past papers, they seemed to bear a striking resemblance. So, had I just learned the answers for the previous past papers, would I have saved time, effort and brain power reading through the bulk of lecture material?
So fellows, if you’ve got one day before an exam and you’ve been out clubbing the night before and hasn’t even opened the lecture material or carried out any directed private study. Don’t panic! You know what to do (however this doesn’t always work).
However, I do not recommend the lazy man’s way, always endeavour at least to read through your notes to improve your knowledge around a particular subject area, as this will make you a better tomorrows’ pharmacist.
That’s all folks! My break is over, I’ve got to go back to revise for my exam on Tuesday. Good luck to those of you who still have exams. Don’t forget to spill your thoughts in the comment box below, thanks for reading.
