The Silence

I'm afraid not too much time to blog at the moment.  Like many others in pharmacy, infection management, public health, emergency planning and just general healthcare; the day job's taking second place to the disease formerly known as Swine Flu.

 Increasingly Facebook posts, blogs and tweets are appearing on the news, so it limits what i can post about the situation; which is generally working ok with minor teething troubles here and there on account of us doing something on a larger scale than ever before.

Certainly there are many things being reinforced - the importance of clear, unambigious information quickly disseminated;  particularly in the face of rumours.  The difference between the universal principles of the  NHS and the limitation of resources.
