Clinical Pharmacist
Hospital Pharmacist is being transformed!
It is currently being redesigned and refocused to appeal to pharmacists in all sectors who are keen to develop their clinical roles.
It will reflect developments — outlined in the English pharmacy White Paper and also taking place in Scotland and Wales — where the boundaries between different sectors are blurring and, increasingly, pharmacists based in one sector find themselves working in another.
While it will continue to appeal primarily to those working in hospitals, there will be new content to support the clinical development of pharmacists in all other sectors, especially:
- Independent and supplementary prescribers
- Pharmacists with special interests
- Primary care pharmacists and prescribing advisers
- Consultant pharmacists
- Pharmacists who conduct clinics in GP practices
- Community pharmacists providing clinical enhanced services
And in response to the last Hospital Pharmacist reader survey — Life-long Learning questions will be available to complete online!
Existing readers of Hospital Pharmacist need do nothing — their names will be automatically transferred to the new mailing list.
All readers of The Pharmaceutical Journal will receive copies in January, February and March (2009) when they will be given the opportunity to request it on an ongoing basis.
Look out for Clinical Pharmacist, which will be distributed with The Pharmaceutical Journal in January 2009.
