Pharmaceutical care record stakeholder day (RPSGB, London)

Event Details
Description:
Stakeholder day
Speakers and Topic:

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is developing a baseline standard for a patient-centred Pharmaceutical Care Record to supplement and expand upon the data already held by our patient medication record (PMR) systems. Pharmacists have a key role to play in determining the requirements/standards for the medicines & medicines management elements of records.

  • This event will enable pharmacists from different sectors and specialist organizations to meet the SPhCR working group and to discuss their record-keeping requirements and what information they need to support their area of practice.
  • To engage with and listen to issues from relevant stakeholders
  • The outcome of this day will be used to develop a series of use cases that will cover a wide range of pharmacy practice scenarios in both community and hospital practice, from which the standard information requirements will be derived.
