Helping cancer patients in the community

I often get asked what products patients can use on the skin on areas that are being exposed to radiotherapy. Would you be able to advise on suitable moisturisers and whether any particular product classes should be avoided?

We have had a patient asking if there were any problems with dietary supplements while receiving radiotherapy He had already received 23 treatments out of 37 radiotherapy treatments for his aggressive prostate cancer.
