Giving advice on bottle-feeding

After reading the bottle feeding article I would just like to clarify one of the points made with regards to preparation of bottles.

How strong is the evidence that soya milk feeds are linked with hormone dependent conditions and how do I find out what they are?

What does IgE stand for in relation to reactions?

You seem to use, "intolerance" and, "allergy" interchangeably. I thought that intolerance to, for example, cows milk protein was something separate from allergy. I wonder if you could explain this.

Under lactose free milk in the first paragraph it says a baby who is truly intolerant to this milk protein will fail to thrive from birth and show obvious symptoms of malabsorption and dehydration.I believe this is not referring to LACTOSE which was rightly described as the carbohydrate in milk in the bit under soya formula.
