Can propamidine be used alone for the treatment of acanthamoeba keratitis or must it be used in conjuction with PHMB?

Have you heard of corneal exhaustion syndrome?

I think I suffer(ed) from the above although I did not get confirmation from my optometrist.

Restricted contentI am slightly confused by your refernce to "extended wear" (silocone hydrogel) contact lenses. You mention that they became available again in 2001 after being withdrawn in 1980s. I quote "......corneal infection compared with the older extended wear lenses......".
