I have just completed the membership survey 2 - despite my wife screaming at me that we should go shopping. I have taken a great deal of thought in completing the survey, as it is about the real grass roots of pharmacy - the local branch, this is where pharmacy starts for new entrants, where they meet other pharmacists, where they gain best practice ideas, where they feel they are coming into a caring welcoming profession.
I only hope that the people who commissioned the survey act on the suggestions that people will have posted; not necessarily mine, to improve the sad state of the local branch.
Now I must go as my wife is hammering out Bach on the piano - a sure sign of her displeasure, but the local branch structure must be examined and strengthened for all our sakes, the future of pharmacy is in the hands of the new pharmacist!!
