More then One pharmacist per Pharmacy

How do pharmacists feel about having more then one pharmacist in a pharmacy?  Our hospital colleagues work with fellow pharmacists, community has lagged behind and we work as an isolated profession. Alright, we know that there is a shortage of pharmacists, but if we could start with an overlap of pharamcists we could extend some of the services. Some pharmacists would like to do home visits and MURs at the persons home. How do we acheive this?  Doctors,  dentists and vets are often  in group practice, how can we make this happen? No doubt we need the small, essential pharmacies to continue but they could  be enhanced by peripatetic pharmacists?

More pharmacists per pharmacy not fewer

In my community pharmacy days I much prefered working with more than one pharmacist, particularly if the workload was high as it made it impossible to carry out some of the additional roles such as health promotion, advice on meds for minor conditions etc.  I think that the answer is in the commissioning of more advanced and enhanced services but unfortunately very few PCTs are engaging community pharmacies in the provision of a range of services.  They need to be well planned and integrated with other services to complement for instance what GPs offer.  We need to take advantage of the particular skills of pharmacists, GPs and nurses.

Rather than remove pharmacists from pharmacies (don't make the most accessible health professional as inaccessible as the rest!) services should be designed to encourage more pharmacists- we are very good.

Not that I'm totally

Not that I'm totally impressed, but this is a lot more than I expected for when I stumpled upon a link on SU telling that the info is quite decent. Thanks.buy HGHbuy winstrolbuy legal clen
