What can we afford?

If the new professional body is not compulsory, then I think pharmacists particularly those newly qualified and those working part-time will think twice about the amount they have to pay. What do pharmacists here think will be an acceptable fee? What about retired pharmacists, what would you want to pay?  We have to remember that many pharmacists belong to other groups and may pay more then one fee and also have to pay insurance etc.

I'm rather surprised that a member of Council should be asking this question now, when the same Council has already committed itself to an overall total, GPharmC plus PLB, of no more than the current fee. And when, presumably, the PLB has already made business projections based on an assumed fee?
