Oncology Pharmacist

Salary: Band 8a £37,106 - £44,527 pa pro rata
Hours: p/t 22.5 pw Three days per week
Rotherham is a forward-thinking acute hospital which has achieved Foundation Trust status and provides healthcare to a population of approximately 250,000. The Pharmacy is currently undergoing a £1 million re-fit which will include automation of the dispensary.
Due to the expansion of oncology services across South Yorkshire we have a great opportunity for an energised, self-motivated individual to join our progressive team, delivering high quality care.
This new post will have both clinical content associated with the oncology clinics as well as duties in our rapidly developing pharmacy aseptic unit.
We expect suitable candidates to have at least two years’ hospital experience with a clinical diploma. The post will attract a sessionally paid out-of-hours commitment operated from home of approximately £60 per night, £360 per weekend. There may be opportunities to expand the role to full time by combining with other clinical duties.
