The aim of the Medicines Support Service is to assist patients with concordance problems to take their medication safely and effectively. As a technician working in this team you will be required to assess patients in their homes to identify appropriate interventions to improve their concordance. Your role will also require effective liaison with GPs, Social Services, Secondary Care, Community Nursing and Community Pharmacies.

Experience in this type of role is not essential as training will be provided. However it is essential that you have experience of working in primary care, enjoy patient contact and are a good communicator. You must also be willing to travel throughout the PCT including Swale.

You must hold the minimum qualifications required for technician registration and have post qualification experience.
