Location: London/South and East of England (Maternity cover)
Ref. EDU-PRE-6, Location: Wales, the South West and West Midlands
(Fixed-term, until December 2009)
The ideal candidates will have relevant work experience related to the regulation and development of GB pharmacy education and training and should possess:
a significant level of experience working within the Preregistration Scheme;
knowledge, understanding and experience of training and assessment including quality assurance;
excellent organisation skills with attention to detail;
ability to negotiate and mediate issues related to preregistration training;
knowledge of competency-based training;
willingness to travel within the geographical area and nationally.
Being a registered pharmacist on the practicing register (part 1) is an advantage.
The Preregistration Training Facilitator post is 17.5 hours a week with 25 days holiday p.a. (pro rata).
