pioneering role. We need you to lead a team and take
forward quality assurance processes.

Our pharmacy department holds a specials manufacturing
licence and produces over 100,000 individualised parenteral
doses per year; these include parenteral nutrition solutions,
using a Baxa MM Compounder, and cytotoxics.We also
contribute to the preparation of gene therapy in a
purpose-built laboratory and to the quality management of
the cell therapy facility.

As well as ensuring the quality of final products, you will
develop the role of quality assurance throughout the hospital
and its systems, in particular computerisation.We are about
to complete the first phase of Electronic Prescribing and
Medicines Administration.You will also have the chance to
respond to the leading-edge technical demands of clinical
trials.There are excellent opportunities for multidisciplinary
research, development and training.

A qualified pharmacist with senior level experience in a aseptic
preparation environment, you will have good organisational and
communication skills.You should be accustomed to working
with clinical colleagues from other disciplines.
