This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research fellow to manage an MRC funded study exploring the added value of pharmacist-led management of chronic pain in primary care compared to standard care. The study follows the MRC framework for complex interventions and includes initial exploratory qualitative work plus the conduct of a Phase II randomised controlled trial.
You should hold a relevant PhD or equivalent, demonstrable with skills and capabilities to operate at this level. Experience of health service research methods, ideally at a supervisory level, is also essential. You must
also have excellent computing skills and sound statistical expertise, whilst a track record of successful publications would be an advantage.
As this post is funded by MRC it will be offered for a period of two years.
