We are looking for a flexible and self-motivated individual to undertake this exciting new post. You will make an important contribution to our leading-edge MPharm degree programme by supporting practical sessions in Pharmacy teaching and by helping to identify and evaluate the impact of new and emerging technologies on teaching practice.
To meet the requirements for this exciting role, you will need a technical background in Pharmacy and will either have, or be able to quickly assimilate, knowledge of how emerging technologies and informatics can be utilised at the interface between clinic and pharmacy.
A working knowledge of drug dispensing and PC-based computing are essential and you must have good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with robotic dispensing and an awareness of Electronic Prescribing developments within the NHS would be beneficial. At certain times of the year, you would also be expected to help with supporting clinical examinations.
