Specialist Pharmacist – Clinical Trials

37.5 hours per week
Band 7: £37,635 - £47,016 per annum
Inclusive of High Cost Area Living Allowance and EDC payment.
Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of the five world-renowned medical research centres and hospitals that are coming together in London to create what will be Europe’s leading health research powerhouse.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist with a keen interest in clinical trials. You will be responsible for the daily pharmaceutical management of all the clinical trials in the Trust. This will include in-house and company sponsored clinical trials. There are approximately twenty trials on-going at present. You will have an up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation issued by the MHRA and at least two years experience in a hospital or clinical trials industry setting. You will be responsible for training all pharmacy staff in clinical trials.
You will provide cover for the medicines information manager in their absence and knowledge of the medicines information service is desirable. You will participate in dispensary service rosters including Saturday working. You will assist in the delivery of medicines management initiatives and participate in clinical pharmacy services to wards.
