Trek for cancer
Action for Charity is seeking individuals to take part in a five-day trek in the Atlas Mountains of Morroco to raise money for two cancer research organisations, Wellbeing of Women and Prostate Action.

The Co-operative Pharmacy raised £100,000 for UNICEF at a charity dinner on 24 September 2010. UNICEF UK ambassador, Ewan McGregor, thanked The Co-operative Pharmacy for supporting the charity and helping to champion the issue of sanitation through its involvement with a UNICEF community development project in Togo, West Africa.

Anthony Nolan Trust
Members of the pharmacy department at Ipswich Hospital took part in the Suffolk Coast bike ride on 8 August to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust. Their efforts are in honour of their friend and colleague, pharmacist Tina Islam (nee Burton), who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2007 and was recently found a donor through the charity.
