A guide to the New RPS website

When the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s regulatory function moved to the General Pharmaceutical Council in September 2010, the old Society website was closed and relevant content was redirected to two new sites: one for the new professional body and one for the new regulator

Where do I find the new website?

The RPS website at www.rpharms.com is the home of the new professional body for pharmacists and pharmacy in England, Scotland and Wales.

(The GPhC website at www.pharmacyregulation.org covers the work of the new regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises in England, Scotland and Wales.)

I am looking for content that used to be on the old Society website

A number of Society documents are being reviewed to ensure they are fully up to date therefore not all content was migrated onto the new RPS website. Visitors who cannot find an old document they are looking for should contact the RPS support team.

Why is some website content member only?

Certain areas of the site have been “secured” so that only members can access them. These member-only benefits currently include the networks, support and continuing professional development areas. Further content will be made secure in future.

I am new

Members who have never logged into the new RPS website will need to enter a temporary password issued by the RPS. They will then be prompted to create their own. Members who have  misplaced a temporary password should contact the RPS Support team.
